Already linked with Premiership sides, Toronto FC midfielder Maurice Edu has repeated a vow to stay with the club for at least one more season.
Were it not for a U.S. call-up, the reigning Rookie of the Year would be in England training with interested party Aston Villa, but he doesn't mind the wait.
"I'm enjoying things in Toronto, but I have aspirations in Europe," Edu told the Globe & Mail of his current status. "Ideally, I'll maybe play another year or two in Toronto."
"I don't want to put a timeline on it - when a team comes in and it's the right fit for me, that's when it'll be clear it's time to go."
