Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Two-time defending MLS champion Houston signed veteran midfielder Brian Mullan to a new contract Friday.
Mullan recently completed his seventh MLS season and was named Houston's Co- MVP with goalkeeper Pat Onstad.
Mullan, one of the most versatile and consistent members of the Dynamo, played in 28 league games and had one goal and three assists.
"I'm happy to be back with a great team and our great coaching staff," Mullan said. "I'm glad it worked out and I can't wait to get next season started."
